- Hexagon Mechanelec Systems Inc, Hexagon Distributing Corp. and Keylargo Industrial Sales are members of the Hexagon Group of Companies, engaged in the distribution of industrial products, parts and services for the electrical, industrial pumps, power products, marine, tire & lubricants, agriculture and other major industries.
- In the Philippines, these three companies are owned and operated by SGS Holdings, Inc., which has offices in Singapore and the Philippines and is handled and maintained by the company President. The group is financially sound with more than half a century in sales and distribution of different products and services in almost every industry in the country.
Brief Hexagon Group of Companies History
- The Hexagon Group of Companies started as a single entity line in Bacolod City in 1947 engaged in the hardware and construction business. Diversification to other business fields included logging, sawmill, sawn lumber export, ice plant, hotel, cinema and sugar trading.
- In 1974, the first Metro Manila based enterprise was established whose main line was construction and industrial steel. At the same time, the Agro-Aqua business operation started. In a span of one decade, the company expanded and diversified into other businesses such as car parts and accessories, pumps and water systems. Industrial electrical controls and equipment, and pharmaceutical raw materials.
- In 1992, all businesses were consolidated with the formation of the Hexagon Group of Companies. Today, the group is engaged in business that vary from hardware and construction materials, industrial steel products, pumps and water systems, electrical controls and equipment, chemical and refrigerant gas, car parts and accessories, grain and feed ingredients, pharmaceutical and veterinary products, dental supplies and equipment, to finance and leasing, commodities and stock investments, and IT solutions.
